Welch’s® Refreshingly Simple™ Review

We had the honor of reviewing Welch's® Refreshingly Simple™ For BzzAgent this past month. I would love to say I was able to get pictures but between Dino Boy and Doll Baby it was all gone before I could grab my phone. As soon as I got the box open and they noticed it was juice, which is something we use as a treat, cups were out and juice was poured. I was able to grab a glass before it was all gone and it was refreshing. It wasn't overly sweet and was a little like flavored water. Dino Boy said it was the best he ever had. We tried the peach mango, which in my head I thought yuck but it was very good. And on top of that the ingredients are simple. Welch’s® Refreshingly Simple™ contains just a handful of honest ingredients and none of the stuff you don’t want. That means no artificial sweeteners, preservatives, artificial flavors or high fructose corn syrup—just simply wholesome deliciousness. And it was pretty much gone within a day. It was refreshingly simple and in the words of Doll Baby yummy! As stated above I received a bottle for an honest review. All statements are my own.

Annie's Star Pasta & Chicken soup review

I received Annie's star pasta & chicken soup from Influenster for an honest review. https://mobile.twitter.com/RaychelFaulkner/status/652166855545647104/photos
The soup had plenty of broth to go with the pasta and chicken, I actually poured some of it off. The flavor was good and not salty. The chicken pieces were a good size, kind of wish there was more but there was enough. The pasta was nice and soft, it had a good flavor. Doll Baby loved the stars and ate all of them. We didn't have any cheddar bunnies but did enough them with some steamed carrots and saltine crackers. Overall, it was a good healthy soup, that my toddler loves!

I'm sorry

I'm sorry is about all I can say to Dino Boy this past Friday. Daddy has been gone all that week and so I was flying solo, stressed from having to do everything (really even when he is here I still do EVERYTHING) so Friday when I picked him up at school we headed to the store and than Sonic for dinner. Dino Boy asked if we coukd go to the football game tonight, it's no big deal the field is 2 minutes from the house, I agreed and we moved on. Came home ate it's only about 4:30/5 so we had plenty of time to play, clean and completely forget about going to the game. At around 7:15 Doll Baby gets cranky and I put her to bed (not remembering the game that starts at 7:30). Dino Boy goes and gets the chicken eggs but he hears people and at the same time we both realize the game is starting. I keep saying "I'm sorry." And he gets wants us to go and I tell him I have no one to watch his sister who is sound asleep now. He screams the three words I thought would never and I mean NEVER would come out of my sweet little boys mouth "I hate you." I'm crushed and holding back tears and say "I'm sorry." He silently gets ready for bed and without even a hug goes to his room. I go in a couple of minutes later and tell him that no matter what I would always love him. He just turns away, my six year old is an old soul and when he hurts it hurts bad. I know that it's just a game but I let him down, I failed him that night because I let stress get to me. He has forgiven me and we made plans to go to the last two home football games. But still the pain that I hurt him enough for him to think he hates me is there.

Pencil Review

So we tried out these new BIC Xtra-FUN pencils and my kids love them! The colors are bright and what caught my kids attention first. Dino Boy loves to draw and write letters to all his friends and family with them. And Doll Baby likes to draw and bang really hard on the paper with them, lucky for her the lead is pretty dang strong and doesn't break. They have helped Dino Boy's hand writing because he practices so much with them. Down fall the eraser is only held on by plastic that the kids can pull out...so some of the pencils are missing the eraser...but hey got it for free from bzzagent.com!

Men...husbands..

I normally don't complain about my husband...but sometimes he just doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut. I stay at home all day with Doll Baby who is two and before/after school with Dino Boy, of course I'm not going to look perfect...in fact most days I'm lucky I have deodorant on...right? I am always covered in whatever food Doll Baby has eaten...and my hair is pulled back with paint or whatever in it from the day. We stay busy and we have fun...please don't come in and ask if I'm sick or complain that I don't look like I did when we were dating ten years ago...sorry being married and birthing two kids ruined that...So last week I decided to take that time and fix myself for him before he got home...however those nights I was too tired to do anything with him...if you get my drift.

My kids suck their thumbs...it's a habit we are now trying to break Dino Boy if..it's a hard habit and dad took his iPad away for a week just to try to get him to stop...a week later and I've only caught him a handful of times...maybe it will work.

Me and Doll Baby had some fun selfie time last week. I'll have to add some later.

FedEx

OMG! Dino Boy's birthday is Friday, my mom ordered him more dinosaurs (yay!) but she put the wrong house number...and the one time she does this it is shipping FedEx...couldn't be ups or usps because they wouldn't have a problem either changing it for me or making sure it got to the right place. Live chatted with fedex because I wasnt going to be on hold for 30 minutes...said to contact the shipper...yeah walmart has no clue what to do! Kill me...now I'm emailing fedex because today the live chat didn't pop up...ugh! thats why I dont ship FedEx...

School

School starts next week. We get Dino Boy all registered tomorrow. After that we are good. Supplies, clothes and shoes all done.  Doll Baby is going to miss having her brother with us all day but I think she enjoys all the mommy alone time she gets. Sometimes I think how can they be this big and why can't they stay little forever. And at times I look around my house and I think when do they grow up and start cleaning without being reminded all the time. However, I love that they play without fear and can use their imaginations for anything that they find. It can be cleaned later.

Summer is almost over

I try to keep my kids busy, we have made can wind chimes, play dough like everyday, painted, drew, read, put on plays and many more this summer. with only a month before Dino Boy goes back to school we are just calm staying home and playing with toys. When Dino Boy goes back to school, me and  Doll Baby are slightly thrown off and have to readjust to it being just us.

I review for a book blog and help admin. sometimes I think that just being able to just blog and type whatever you want is better than having to post certain things from others.

I hate using this word!

Stupid! I hate that word however in this situation I couldn't think of another word. Saturday we were taking one of Dino Boy's friend home, we live in a small town with a bunch of "good ol' boys", who believe they are above the law. Driving down our street this truck is headed our way right in the middle of the road...they barely move over when we pass in my small bright blue car, and they speed through the stop sign without stopping. Drop friend off and head back to main street, and surprise the same truck is now stopped in the middle of main street talking to another truck...UGH! My husband passes and stops at the stop sign, flips on right blinker only to have to make a wide right turn because the "truck" tried to turn right right on top of us, barely missing the back of my car. At this point I grab my phone and start videoing the truck...who is now in the left lane speeding to pass us. At the point of them passing as they pull in front of us only to slam on their brakes. They turn right on another street but not before I finished videoing and managed to get pictures of the truck's license plates, side of truck and the driver and passenger of the truck. I told my husband I was going to call the state troopers and report them, send in video and pictures. He told me he knows the owner of the truck and that it was a company truck. So instead of reporting them I sent a message to the company owner and one of the pictures I took, no video. He went through the motions of telling me he would take care of it. I posted a vague facebook status about it. On Sunday, Dino Boy's kinder teacher called, well thats what we thought. It was the driver of the truck calling to "apologize" said he "thought" it was a friend. I should point out my car is bright blue and custom painted that color...the only one that has ever been painted. I took the apology and let the company owner know he did call and whatever. Said company owner said that the guy is a "good man". the only thing going through my mind was, the wasn't a "good man" when he almost hit my car with my children in the back. What kind of "good man" does this? what kind of "good man" endangers children and people he doesn't know. and what kind of company doesn't take action when an employee does this? I'm not posting the company or names because I let the owner know next time I will let the police know and I will take action for his stupid "good man" employee and himself. I also let him know to keep away from me and mine. Went to far? maybe but this momma doesn't mess around with someone who tried to hurt her babies.

Visitors

a year and a half ago we moved 5 hours across Texas, away from family and friends. To a VERY small town, where we knew no one. As a shy indoor person (kids help) it's hard to make friends. Slowly I do but everyone here grew up together and/or are related. So those nice days at the lake you see them post on Facebook...you aren't invited because you aren't "family".

When family happen to visit...mostly my mom...okay it's been my mom since we moved once my dad. That's it. My kids love when she comes. "Nonnie is coming!" Is all I hear for days. So 90% of the time it's just me and the kids with my husband in the afternoons...it's hard to adjust to visitors because I'm not used to them! It's also hard when we go visit because I'm used to being alone with my small family. By the time I adjust...they are leaving...

My Life

My daily dose of dinosaurs begins at 6:30 am from my almost 6 year old son, lets call him Dino Boy. Today it was raptors. He let me know that there are still raptors alive today as in birds. Doll Baby gets up at about 9 each morning in a fit of crying because 1. I don't have a cup of milk in hand or 2. I'm not fast enough with gathering all her dolls in a box to carry down stairs. Doll Baby is 2 going on 13.
Now at lunch time, I'm fighting with both and threatening nap time...thank God my mother is coming up today...
